Scott is a civil mediator affiliated with Miles Mediation and Arbitration Services in Atlanta, Georgia, where he has successfully mediated hundreds of civil cases. His legal and military experience gives him a unique ability to move past difficult obstacles to get cases settled.
Scott Delius also practices law in Georgia and Tennessee, and handles a variety of civil litigation matters for individuals, businesses and insurance companies in both states. Scott earned his law degree from the University of Memphis,where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and a member of the labor law national moot court team. Scott earned a B.A. with honors from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, where he was awarded the Chancellor’s Citation for Extraordinary Campus Leadership and Service.
Scott also serves our country as a major in the Georgia Army National Guard, and he is an Afghanistan veteran. Scott answered the call to serve following the terrorist attacks of 9/11 and joined the Georgia Army National Guard. He volunteered for duty in Afghanistan where he served as an advisor to the Afghan National Army from 2006 – 2007. Major Delius helped the Afghans establish a military justice system which included training Afghan legal officers and establishing a military court. He also organized humanitarian service missions that delivered food and clothing to needy Afghan civilians.
Scott was also inducted into the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals due to his outstanding alternative dispute resolution skills. Scott has received an AV® Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell.
